PBC is a sustainable social enterprise; that means we put back into our community.

We are independent non-profit making, market driven and nationally recognised as a provider of professional Enterprise Support Services.

We exist to help individuals to think about, start up, grow and expand businesses, to support people in realising their full potential through the provision of affordable, high quality, independent and confidential support delivered by an experienced and professional team.

We listen to the needs of our customers and respond accordingly – we are delighted that hundreds of businesses within our local community and across London seek out our support.

Why We’re Supporting #MicroBizMattersDay

I have personally been involved in the world of Enterprise Support for more years that I’d care to admit to. Prior to that I was a business owner in my own right running Hotel in Oxfordshire.

I live, eat and breathe Micro Business matters every day and understand all too well the impact these bold entrepreneurs have on everyday lives and the strength they bring to community. I think the contribution they make to our society as a whole is vastly under appreciated

Portobello Business Centre is supporting MicroBizMattersDay because it epitomises all that we hold dear and believe in within the world of Business Support.

It is all about community, albeit the business community, being able to support and help others within the community to simply be better. It is about taking a “hands on” approach and sharing your experience and expertise with others.

It is about helping individuals to start, survive, grow and develop through the transfer of knowledge without taking advantage or seeking to profit from the relationship to the detriment of others.

We are delighted to have been asked to play a role in supporting Tina and Tony in making MicroBizMattersDay even more successful and accessible to the businesses across our community.
